Mister Bear is an English Shepherd that ran away when being transferred from his transport to his foster home. He is black and tan about 50 pounds, neuterd male that is up to date on all his shots.
When being transferred from one car to another in the parking lot of Cracker Barrel just off Hwy 70 (excit 29A) in Hagerstown MD on Tuesday Aug 30th, 2011, Mister Bear slipped his collar and escaped. He spent most of his life in a hoarding situation in Ohio so he is very shy. Although he wants to trust humans he hasn't had much experience with them.

Today, September 1st Adam created a Craigslist ad with Mister Bear's photos. I (Jeni) called a local vet, Cumberland Valley Veterinarian, and left Mister Bear's info, and will call other vets in the area. I also sent photos to the Humane Society of Washington County. So far they have had no sightings of Mister Bear, and no dog matching his description has been turned in. Also sent an email to WHAG, a local television station to see if they might run a story on Mister Bear.
